Slow Cooker Balsamic Baby Back Ribs

2 lbs. baby back ribs, membranes removed
1/2 sweet onion, chopped
1 12 -oz. jar sugar-free apricot preserves
1/3 cup bottled barbecue sauce

Nice. Brought back memories for sure. My uncle in Michigan is from Santa Isabel. Most summers, he would roast a pig. All us kids took turns turning the pig and all the men played dominoes and drank Miller High Life!! Moms were making the arroz con gandules.

is it ok if they are a little pink in the middle. I got nervous about the pinkish look and just over cooked the crap out of mine. they were thin and cubed. 3 to 4 mins a side. with a lid on for most. added extra time. them hit the microwave a few times but the pink didn't want to die ahhh. haha

How would use the the pot liquid?
Overdone. Use an instant read and remove at 135. Let it rest for 10 minutes and then serve. Much more tender and still safe.
Letting meat rest was recently debunked. Tests were done, letting meat rest does absolutely nothing except feed your ego
I am amazed that it only took 30 minutes for that big chunk......I am googling recipes as I have to medium sized pork loins.... I am crossing fingers and toes they cook this fast too.... yours looks perfect.. thank you..... I'll be sure to come back and advise if 30 minutes wasn't enough.

I believe the USDA has now come out with an updated recommendation of an internal temp of 145F (62.7C) for whole muscle cuts such as loins, roast and chops.

Uncooked = 1 minute
when u count the 10 min it takes to pressurize and the 10 min to depressurize then the 1 min to cook = 21 min of actual cook time cause as its pressurizing and depressurizing its actually cooking too. the vid dosnt explain this part but ya 1 min of cooking
